What happens when I change my email address or mobile number?

When you update your email address or mobile number, it automatically becomes your new login credential. All account-related notifications and communications will now be sent to the updated email address or mobile number.

How soon will my Mytrikart account reflect the updated email or mobile number?

The changes are applied immediately after you verify the update using the confirmation code sent to your new email or mobile number. Once verified, the new details will be saved successfully.

Will updating my email address or mobile number affect my current MyTrikart account?

No, making this change won’t disrupt your account. All your order history, saved details, and personal information will remain intact, and your account will continue to function as usual.

Will my seller account be impacted if I update my email address?

Since Mytrikart follows a single sign-on system, any changes made to your email address or mobile number will automatically apply to your seller account as well.

What Happens When You Deactivate Your Account?

  • You will be logged out of your Mytrikart account.
  • Your public profile on Flipkart will no longer be visible to others.
  • While your reviews and ratings remain visible, your profile details will appear as “unavailable” due to deactivation.
  • Items in your wishlist will no longer be accessible through the public link and will be marked as “unavailable.”
  • You will no longer receive promotional emails or notifications from Mytrikart.
  • Your account information will be retained and can be fully restored if you decide to reactivate your account.

How to Reactivate Your Mytrikart Account?

Reactivation is straightforward:

  1. Log in with your previously registered email ID or mobile number and password.
  2. Once logged in, your account will be fully restored, including all data and default settings.
  3. Promotional emails and notifications will also be resumed.

Mytrikart securely retains your account data to ensure a seamless reactivation experience.

Note: Reactivating your account can only be done via the desktop version.

Important Information Before Deleting Your Account

If you wish to proceed with deleting your account, please ensure you have reviewed the following points:

  • Pending Transactions: Ensure that all orders, returns, refunds, cancellations, or other requests are completed. Account deletion requests cannot be processed with pending transactions.
  • Subscriptions and Memberships: Deleting your account will result in the loss of any active subscriptions, memberships, or associated benefits and rewards.
  • Account Access: Once deleted, you will no longer be able to access your account details, such as order history, saved addresses, wishlists, payment methods, or previous orders. You will also lose the ability to use Mytrikart’s services, requiring the creation of a new account to regain access.
  • Deletion Restrictions: Account deletion may be denied if there are unresolved legal disputes, pending payments, or issues related to orders, shipments, deliveries, or credit lines.
  • Data Retention: Mytrikart may retain specific data for purposes like legal enforcement, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance, in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Future Accounts: If you use the same email address or mobile number to create a new account, your previous account data will not be recoverable.
  • No Relaxation on Policies: Return or cancellation fees and product policies will still apply across the platform, even after account deletion.
  • Notifications: Uninstall the Mytrikart app after account deletion to stop receiving notifications. Full notification cessation requires app removal.

Account Deletion is Permanent

Please note that deleting your account is an irreversible action. Once deleted:

  • You will lose access to all account data, including order history, permanently.
  • Mytrikart -related data cannot be restored under any circumstances.

To proceed, you must agree to the following:

  • I have read and understood the Terms and Conditions.
  • I confirm that I do not have any unused gift card balance or SuperCoins, or I am willing to forfeit them.
  • I acknowledge that I will not be able to return, replace, or access any services or information linked to past orders or transactions.
